Join the Homeschool History Club and See for Yourself Why History Rocks at Belle Meade Historic Site!
Pack your bags and get ready to hit the skies with “Belle Meade Around the World” – Join us as we follow Belle Meade descendant John “Smiling Jack” Harding and crew’s historic flight in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the first flight around the world. This year’s theme coincides with the opening of our new exhibit about the adventurous expedition premiering in September. Students will “board a flight” each month as they follow the same flight path as Smiling Jack and learn about the customs, culture, and history of each country they stop in.

Please fill out only ONE form PER FAMILY. Once your form has been received, you will be contacted by the Education Department to make payment arrangements along with a link to a SmartWaiver release form(ONE PER CHILD) and a copy of the 2024-2025 HHC Handbook.
Each month the Homeschool History Club will meet on Tuesdays OR Wednesdays, the third full week of the month (with the exception of November and December, when we meet on the second week, due to the holidays). The programming for Tuesday/Wednesday does not differ, so please pick the day that works best for your family’s schedule. Students are enrolled in Homeschool History Club by grade level:
Grades Kindergarten – 2nd
Grades 3rd – 5th
Grades 6th – 8th
Grades 9th – 12th
Each grade level is limited to 20 students per day.

MEMBERSHIP, FEES, AND PAYMENT OPTIONS:
Membership includes:
Ten (10) Homeschool History Club Meeting Days from August through May
Membership Fee:
$150 per student for the school year.
When registering, you can choose to pay in installments or in-full.
*Pay your fee in ten (10) monthly installments of $15 per month per student.
*Pay your fee in-full and receive a $15 discount per student (one free month of programming).
We are confident that you will love History Club, but we know that Homeschooling families’ plans may change, so we’ve made it easy to withdraw and request a refund by emailing our Education Department at education@visitbellemeade.com. More information will be provided after your registration is processed.
HEALTH AND SAFETY AT HOMESCHOOL HISTORY CLUB
Our Homeschool History Club Leaders are CPR/First Aid Certified with the American Red Cross. All students and staff agree to our Code of Conduct and anti-bullying policies, and we take the care of your children very seriously.
