Job Title: Ticketing Associate

The Ticketing Associate at Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery is responsible for greeting guests and
checking in guests with reservations. This role involves selling tickets on‐site and guiding guests to various
attractions. Ticketing Associates have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a
commitment to hospitality.Duties/Responsibilities
● Welcome and greet visitors to the site, collect tickets, and provide guidance on exhibits and
points of interest.
● Display a customer‐focused demeanor and effectively engage with large daily crowds.
● Provide outstanding customer service and promptly address any inquiries from visitors.
● Develop expertise in all public ticketed experiences and actively promote ticket sales to walk‐in
visitors.
● Assist in coordinating special events and programs, particularly those held on weekends.

The Museum Gift Shop is a true gift shop. We offer upscale equestrian, fashion, and home decor offerings, as well as Nashville and Belle Meade souvenirs. Our clients include guests who come to learn the unique history of Belle Meade and who come to enjoy unique food and wine events. Our clients also include local and neighborhood customers who rely on us for hard-to-find and everyday gift items.
About the Position
The Museum Gift Shop Store Assistant at Belle Meade Historic Site is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, assisting them in finding the perfect souvenirs and gifts to commemorate their visit. Additionally, they help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gift shop, process transactions accurately, and contribute to creating an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Duties/Responsibilities
● Greet and welcome visitors while communicating our readiness to provide assistance: 3 or 4 employees are needed daily to handle all responsibilities of the gift shop team, depending on the number of groups and traffic volume. Stations include: 1. Greeter 2. Floater 3. team members behind the counter to assist paying customers. (behind the counter might be 3-4 team members on a busy day) Team will also be responsible for restocking, cleaning, pricing and displaying new merchandise.
● Ready the store for public opening and confirm store doors are unlocked.
● Perform a cash count of the Point of Sale (POS) system to reconcile register funds.
● Respond to store calls when it does not disrupt ongoing customer interactions.
● Familiarize yourself with both the store’s inventories and retrieve merchandise from overflow stock as needed for replenishment.
● Assist in pricing and labeling merchandise.
● Conduct register reconciliation at close, post cash entries, deposit funds into a secured safe, and generate a Z tape for recordkeeping purposes.
● Confirm the change to ensure accurate preparation of the required amount for the following day.
● Adhere to the daily “To-Do” List for cleaning duties in the store.
● Close and safeguard the establishment by securing all doors and turning off all lights/equipment.
Required Skills/Abilities
● Able to perform physical duties and tasks, including lifting, moving, and climbing stairs.
● Able to count and make change with a focus on accuracy.
● Able to engage in a courteous and calm manner with customers and staff.
Education and Experience
● Retail experience necessary.
● High School Diploma is required.
● Retain a keen interest in learning about Belle Meade’s history and attractions.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
● Ability to perform physical duties and tasks, including using the ladder, lifting or moving boxes and displays, restocking the storeroom, and climbing stairs.
● Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.

About the Position
The Hospitality Manager at Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient operations. Responsible for overseeing Ticketing Associates, the Manager ensures seamless ticketing processes for a variety of offerings including tours with Historical Interpreters, Wine Tastings, and more. They collaborate closely with staff to maintain high standards of customer service, manage ticket sales, and uphold the site’s historical integrity while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Supervise the operations of the Ticketing and Guest Services Department and ensure optimal customer service experiences.
- Cultivate and uphold comprehensive schedules for the Ticketing Department. ● Review staff payroll with accuracy and ensure payroll information is consistently updated with current data.
- Manage cash drawer operations and maintain fiscal integrity for secure financial transactions. ● Recruit potential employees and execute comprehensive training to empower staff for optimal performance.
- Offer support and assistance for managing large groups while addressing specific needs or requirements unique to our guests.
- Engage in management meetings and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement of decision‐making processes.
- Establish effective communication and collaboration with vendors to guarantee ongoing efficiency of the annual membership program and its online portal.
- Monitor and record donations while coordinating the distribution of event tickets to ensure a well‐organized and efficient process.
- Oversee operations folders and ensure accountability for office materials and/or inventories. ● Manage the onboarding process for new employees and oversee the issuance of uniforms, including replenishing stock as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for All Access Pass holders, ensuring open and effective communications with those involved in the program.
- Manage the closing procedures of the property after operating hours and ensure a secure and efficient conclusion of daily operations.
