Homeschool History Club

This year Homeschool History Club participants will travel down the Road to Revolution: Commemorating America’s Semiquincentennial!  Students will learn about America’s earliest Indigenous inhabitants, the establishment of the original 13 colonies, what led to the signing of the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago, the American Revolution, and pivotal moments in our young nation’s history afterwards. Students will explore the legacy of what it means to be American- and decide what the future could hold for our country! Students will enjoy hands-on learning activities with take home crafts based on each month’s theme as they explore this country’s origins and founding: its past, present, and exciting future!

Open enrollment begins June 1, 2025.

To register for enrollment, please click the link below. You are not enrolled for HHC until you’ve been contacted by the Belle Meade Education Department to confirm. Enrollment and waitlist are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please fill out only ONE form PER FAMILY. Once your form has been received, you will be contacted by the Education Department to make payment arrangements along with a link to a SmartWaiver release form (ONE PER CHILD) and a copy of the 2025-2026 HHC Handbook.

Homeschool History Club meets from 9:45AM to 12:45PM, on the fourth Tuesday OR Wednesday of the month (adjusted for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays). The programming for Tuesday/Wednesday does not differ, so please pick the day that works best for your family’s schedule. Students are enrolled in Homeschool History Club by grade level:

Grades Kindergarten – 2nd

Grades 3rd – 6th

Grades 7th-12th

MEMBERSHIP, FEES, AND PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Membership to the Homeschool History Club includes: Ten (10) Homeschool History Club Meeting Days from August through May.

Membership Fee: $250 per student for the school year. 3 children or more qualify for sibling discount: $200 per student.

We are no longer offering monthly installments, as the membership fee is not based on monthly attendance. Limited Scholarships available upon request. Please email education@visitbellemeade.com for more information.

We are confident that you will love History Club, but we know that Homeschooling families’ plans may change, so we’ve made it easy to withdraw and request a refund by emailing our Education Department at education@visitbellemeade.com. More information will be provided after your registration is processed.

HEALTH AND SAFETY AT HOMESCHOOL HISTORY CLUB

Our Homeschool History Club Leaders are CPR/First Aid Certified with the American Red Cross. All students and staff agree to our Code of Conduct and anti-bullying policies, and we take the care of your children very seriously.  In addition, we continually monitor community health for the safety of our students and staff.
