Discover more about 1800s technology innovation when you explore how telegraphs and early telephones worked, and make a tin-punched candle holder to take home!

FAMILY TOUR REVIEWS

  • “We thoroughly enjoyed this educational experience. We have never been disappointed with any event we have attended at Belle Meade.”
  • “Our guide did an excellent job and answered all of our questions! It was fun and educational for all of us.”
  • “Requesting an [American Sign Language] interpreter was easy and seamless. The tour guide was FANTASTIC and held the attention of all 6 children well. They all said they had an awesome time. I was thrilled that my Deaf daughter was able to access this wonderful programming just as my other children did. And I was just as enthralled as an adult.”
  • “We have done several educational programs at Belle Meade. The educator (I wish I could remember her name!) is an excellent teacher and did so well engaging the kids (elementary age). The activities were educational and fun. We will definitely be scheduling more field trips (we attended as a small homeschool group). Everyone that I’ve interacted with at Belle Meade has been knowledgeable and kind. Great place to visit!”
