Step inside one of Tennessee’s most iconic historic homes on our guided Mansion Tour. Led by one of our knowledgeable historians, you’ll explore the beautifully preserved interiors of the mansion while discovering the people and events that shaped Belle Meade from 1807–1906. This immersive experience offers a deeper understanding of the estate’s history, architecture, and legacy.
Your Mansion Tour Includes:
- A guided tour through the mansion’s foyer, library, dining room, parlor, and upstairs bedrooms
- Stories of the Harding-Jackson family who called Belle Meade home
- An exploration of the lives of the individuals who lived and labored on the property from 1807–1906
- Insight from one of our knowledgeable historians

Your Ticket Also Includes:
- Admission to the Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery grounds from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM on the day of your visit
- The opportunity to explore our 30+ acres of historic grounds, walking paths, and outdoor exhibits
- Visits with our resident horses, Nelson and Alibi (April–October)

Arrival Information:
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to check in at the Visitor’s Center.
- After checking in, allow approximately 5 minutes to walk from the Visitor’s Center to the mansion.
- Tours begin promptly at the scheduled time.
- Guests arriving after the tour has started may be accommodated on the next available tour if space permits, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Tour Duration & Location
- 45 minutes (We suggest a minimum of 2 hours on site.)
- The Mansion Tour starts on the front porch of the Mansion promptly at the tour start time.
- Every guest must either purchase tickets online and check in at our Visitor’s Center or purchase tickets to this tour in the Visitor’s Center.
Wheelchair Access
- The grounds are wheelchair accessible, and the first floor of the Mansion is also wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the side porch. Please bring your own wheelchair, walker, cane, or scooter to ensure your comfort. There is an elevator that provides service between the lower and upper levels of the Visitor Center.
