Celebrate Belle Meade’s own John “Jack” Harding Jr on the 100th anniversary of the first flight around the world. Come see the exhibit in our Stable Hall! This exhibit will run September through October 2024 and is available to anyone with a ticket to our site.
Join us on Sunday October 6th from 2:00-3:30 PM for a 90 minute session of learning about the history of sending secret messages out in the open and the beauty and meaning behind your favorite blooms. We will conclude with building our own message bearing bouquet from fresh seasonal blooms brought by Apple and Dove Flower Co.

Join us for our annual Trick or Treat at Belle Meade Historic Site on Sunday October 27th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. In addition to multiple stops for candy, enjoy face painting, hay rides, a harvest hay maze and photo area, live music, and crafts!
Discover the story behind the first flight around the world was completed by a team of Americans in 1924. Belle Meade’s own John “Jack” Harding Jr. served as a mechanical engineer on the crew! Hear an amazing story on this iconic trip presented by Bob Henderson.
Join us on October 9th for a fall dinner featuring Southern favorites, including fried chicken from Waldo’s Chicken & Beer. Tickets include a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres & wine, followed by a three-course family-style dinner with beverage pairings. Guests will also enjoy live music from singer/songwriter Carter Windham.
