In addition to our daily Family Tours, Homeschool Days provide a unique opportunity to experience Belle Meade at your own pace. Drop in anytime between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to participate in engaging, educational activities designed for all ages.

Offered in both spring and fall, you can choose to attend either Friday or Saturday. Your ticket includes access to the grounds for the rest of the day, including our restaurants, Coop n’ Scoop ice cream and coffee shop, mini-games court, and self-guided historic areas. Please note: Mansion tours are not included with Homeschool Days admission.

Step Back in Time
Celebrate our nation’s Semi-quincentennial with interactive programs that bring history to life:

May 22 or 23: Revolutionary War Times
Discover daily life during the Revolutionary War through hands-on activities like military drills, decoding secret ciphers, crafting a tricorn or Hessian hat, creating a whirligig toy, and designing a Memorial Day remembrance ribbon.

October 2 or 3: Colonial Times
Experience Colonial-era living by playing traditional games, trying laundry with a washboard and tub, churning butter, and making take-home crafts like rag dolls and cup-and-ball games.

Each session also includes a themed scavenger hunt, coloring station, and a cozy reading nook.
