Calling all Homeschool and Community Families! In addition to our Family Tours offered daily, Homeschool Days are a great way for your family to explore Belle Meade at your own pace. The hands-on, interactive days are a come-and-go experience with activities programmed from 10:00am to 2:00pm. In 2026 we’re once again offering Homeschool Days in the Spring and in the Fall. Choose to attend either Friday or Saturday. Your ticket includes admission to our grounds for the remainder of the day, with access to our two restaurants, Coop n’ Scoop ice cream and coffee shop, mini-games court, and multiple self-guided historic structures. Homeschool Days do not include admission to the Mansion.
This year we’re featuring programs to help celebrate our Nation’s Semiquincentennial.
May 22nd & 23rd: Revolutionary War Times
Learn what life was like during the Revolutionary War. Do Military drills. Try your hand at breaking coded ciphers. Make a tri-corn or Hessian hat. Create a whirly gig toy. Go on a scavenger hunt. You can also design your own Memorial Day Remembrance ribbon.
October 2nd & 3rd: Colonial Times
Learn what life was like during Colonial Times. Play traditional games. Do laundry with a washboard and tub. Churn your own butter. Make a rag doll and a cup and ball game to take home with you. Go on a scavenger hunt.
