Celebrate Black History Month with the Carter’s Remarkable Story

Join us on February 8th at 2:00 PM as father, Raymond Carter and son, Ray Carter JR engage in a conversation about diving deep into their family’s history through genealogical research. Descendants of Issac and Joe Carter, formerly enslaved individuals at Belle Meade, the modern Carters have discovered their family lineage traces back to multiple United States presidents, and Elvis. Belle Meade is excited to host these descendants and share their intriguing family history with the public.
